Designer Bahar Taheri began making jewelry in 2005. Wanting something
different to wear, she started creating her own custom made earrings. The
response was overwhelmingly positive and soon she began receiving requests
to design pieces for others. The popularity of her jewelry amongst those who
shared the same desire for unique accessories motivated her to create Tala
Designs. Her premiere collection was launched in Winter 2005 - a line of
high-end handmade pieces made with quality semi precious stones and
crystals, put together with 14K gold filled chains, 12K gold filled wiring
and 24K gold plated components.

Fast forward to 2007.
Bahar's second line of accessories - Darya - boasts a unique trendy look at
a very affordable price. Debuting the line with its Spring 2008 Collection,
each piece was personally designed by Bahar who was involved in every step
of the creative process. The result of Bahar's unique eye for design is a
wearable collection of jewelry that adds a touch of style to any outfit -
whether worn to school, the office or for a night of partying your ass off.
